Throughout Scripture, we see a relentless call to care for the most vulnerable in society. One of the ways Disciple Dojo seeks to do this is by giving them the skills and confidence needed to avoid and protect themselves from intimidation or physical dangers they may encounter living in a broken world.
Through Disciple Dojo self-defense seminars, participants are introduced to basic concepts such as personal awareness, situational safety, verbal communication, de-escalation of conflict, and if those fail, physical defense against an aggressor with the goal of escape or control until help arrives.
Disciple Dojo offers private seminars for women’s groups, couples, employee team building, student groups, or classrooms. The purpose is NOT to teach people how to fight. Rather, it is to teach people how NOT to fight while also protecting themselves from physical threats.
